Edelman, Maroney out for Pats vs. Bengals

Patriots WR Julian Edelman (foot) and RB Laurence Maroney (thigh) are both inactive for New England’s season opener against the Bengals. Both players were limited in practice this week and listed as questionable in Friday’s injury report.

Also inactive for the Patriots: WR Taylor Price, CB Terrence Wheatley, LB Dane Fletcher, OL Steve Maneri, DL Brandon Deaderick, OT Nick Kaczur.

Inactive for the Bengals are: Dan LeFevour (No. 3 QB), DB Brandon Ghee, RB Brian Leonard, LB Roddrick Muckelroy, C Reggie Stephens, WR Andre Caldwell, DT Pat Sims, DE Carlos Dunlap.
