We waited all summer for this?

Sixteen points? Where is the shootout that this game figured to be? We got our fair share of low-scoring games during the World Cup this summer. This is the Vikings vs. the Saints. Brett Favre vs. Drew Brees.

Where are the points?

Although, I felt rather good about my decision to sit Favre after he tossed an interception. Well, until the Saints decided to do their impression of the Virginia Tech prevent defense at the end of the half as Gregg Williams channeled his inner Bud Foster.

So far Favre has a touchdown and an interception. We will see what happens in the second half. Alhough it looks like the Vikings are looking to shorten the game like teams tried to do against St. Louis in the early 2000s. That could make this a rather tepid game for fantasy enthusiasts everywhere.
