Back away from Ward, Mr. Kubiak

The Texans have seem to have found their running back. Arian Foster has been awesome in the preseason and looks like the No. 1 fantasy back that everybody wants the Texans to finally have.

But this being the Texans, things can never be that easy.

Former Giants and Buccaneers RB Derrick Ward is visiting the Texans, according to Jason La Canfora.

No.

Just no, Gary Kubiak.

You are not going to take away this seemingly ideal situation. Foster is the man. No need to mess that up. Why bring in other people? You tried that with rookie Ben Tate and looked what happened to him. The fantasy Gods wrecked him. Let’s just stick with the plan, and everybody will be cool.

But in all seriousness, it seems hard to fathom that Ward could put any sort of dent into Foster’s value. Ward could not even supplant Cadillac Williams in Tampa Bay. Still, why mess with it?
