You shouldn’t expect to see Brett Favre in the Vikings’ season finale against the Broncos, but you should expect to see quite a bit of Tim Tebow.
The word out of Denver is that coach Josh McDaniels will play his starters – for about a quarter — so the quarterback rotation is expected to go from Kyle Orton to Brady Quinn to Tebow. McDaniels has yet to settle on a No. 2 QB behind Orton, and Broncos RT Ryan Harris told the St. Paul Pioneer Press the Vikings will see quite a bit of the first-round pick everyone loves to talk about.
“You’re going to get a full dose of Tim Tebow,” Harris told Charlie Walters. “He’ll be playing a lot.”
Harris had plenty of good things to say about Tebow.
“He’s a gamer, man,” Harris said. “You can see why he was successful in college. And he’s a very good guy — what you see is what you get. He’s as true as you see on TV. That’s how he is every day.
“He’s got good leadership. But I think he’s learning that leadership is a little different in the NFL than in college. He’s doing a good job. He’ll help us win.”
