It’s sounding more and more likely that Ryan Clady’s goal of returning for the regular-season opener is right on track.
Clady participated in a full practice with the Broncos on Tuesday, and the plan is for him to play in the preseason finale against the Vikings on Thursday night, according to Mike Klis of The Denver Post.
A quick return by Clady, who has started all 32 games in his career, would be a huge boost for a Broncos line that is projected to start two rookies — C J.D. Walton and LG Zane Beadles. No word on whether Clady will start.
Clady’s return comes just six months after tearing his left patellar tendon while playing basketball in April.
