DeAngelo Hall got his hot dog

We can always rely on DeAngelo Hall for some entertainment.
Passing this nugget along from deadspin.com, which posted a tasty little story about Hall and a hot dog.
Apparently, Hall was hungry during the Redskins’ preseason game against the Jets on Aug. 27. He bartered with a fan to get a hot dog in exchange for a hat signed by himself and Clinton Portis.
Here’s the pretty awesome exchange, per the fan, via deadspin:
The private seats behind the bench let you interact with the players. This was in the middle of the third quarter.
Deangelo Hall: “Yo get me a hot dog”
Me: “What do I get for a hot dog”
DH: “Whatchu want?”
Me: “A helmet”
DH: “A hat”
Me: “Deal”
He sweetened the pot by autographing it and having Clinton Portis sign it too. (DH had 1 interception and 1 hot dog with ketchup and kraut)
Mark Sanchez, then a rookie, caught some heat for taking down a hot dog during a game against the Raiders last season. He later made a donation to a soup kitchen in Morristown, N.J., to turn the situation into a positive.
I know some will feel Hall disrespected the game, but it seems like some good-natured preseason fun, and a fan benefited from it. Assuming it’s all true, I can’t wait to hear what Hall has to say.
