All signs point to go for Owen Daniels.
The Texans activated Daniels from the active/physically-unable-to-perform list on Monday, meaning he’s eligible to begin practicing with the team. Daniels, who tore the ACL in his right knee in November, should get about two weeks of practice in before the Texan’s season-opener on Sept. 12.
Daniels said last week that recent tests showed he was 100 percent healthy, before his visit to Dr. James Andrews.
The plan for Daniels all along was to be ready by Week 1, and it looks like he’s on schedule.
