Jones-Drew being rested for fantasy playoffs

Kudos to Jaguars coach Jack Del Rio for resting Maurice Jones-Drew for the preseason. Why do people want this guy to play right now anyway?
Because the preseason does not help my fantasy squad.
As somebody who had MJD last year, and lost in the championship round of the playoffs because the diminutive running back had run out of gas, this is a welcome move.
Jones-Drew hit some sort of “rookie wall” during his first full season as a full-time back. Former running mate Fred Taylor joined the Patriots for the 2009 season. Jones-Drew had only 63 rushing yards (nine fantasy points) during the crucial Week 16. Who does he think he is, Peyton Manning?
(And, yeah, I rejoiced when he went nuts against the Colts in Week 15.)
So good move by Del Rio to keep those legs fresh. And, you know, with MJD being such a fantasy enthusiasts, he probably pushed for this move, too.
Good on ya, Maurice.
