Warner will not return; fantasy enthusiasts bummed

Kurt Warner is not walking through that door. Warner made it abundantly clear on NFL Network on Wednesday, chatting with Rich Eisen and Trent Green.
Even when pressed by Eisen if the Cardinals sent Larry Fitzgerald, Darnell Dockett (we will forgive Eisen here for his inability to pick a third Cardinals player) and somebody to his home, Warner would give them a good meal, then tell them that his career is over.
So there we are fantasy enthusiasts, there is no Warner and no hope for it either. Warner did stress that it was important to note that the preseason is such a limited sample size for a quarterback, that the true value is known by the coaches who watch Matt Leinart on a daily basis.
And the bad news is that not only do we lose a top fantasy quarterback like Warner, I am down on Fitzgerald, too. I would clearly put Fitzgerald behind guys such as Miles Austin, Calvin Johnson or Reggie Wayne. Let somebody else deal with this headache.
