Packers continue to air it out during preseason

NFL.com analyst Bucky Brooks wrote in his scout’s notebook today that while many of us — or at least the Jets — find the preseason to be meaningless, some teams take it very seriously.
The Packers, in particular according to Brooks, showed just how serious they are taking the preseason by dialing up some long bombs from QB Aaron Rodgers. The Packers and Colts figure to pull out the offensive weaponry as they square off Thursday night.
Were this a regular-season game, this would be the fantasy matchup to end all fantasy matchups. Colts QB Peyton Manning passed the fantasy torch to Rodgers last year, so watching these two quarterbacks square off — even in preseason — is worth noting. The thing to like about these two teams is that every skill player on the field has tremendous fantasy value.
One thing to look for is Colts WR Pierre Garcon who returned to practice Sunday. Garcon is tentatively expected to play in the game against the Packers, but how much time he will see still is to be determined. Will Manning look to get Garcon into the mix early? That is what I will be watching.
