We found out on Monday that Tom Brady doesn’t like the Jets, and thus isn’t a big fan of HBO’s “Hard Knocks” either.

Fair enough.

Of course it was only a matter of time before that information was spoon-fed to Rex Ryan, who actually kept his response pretty even-keeled during his news conference on Monday.

“Hell, he knows we hate the Patriots. So what’s the difference?” Ryan told reporters. “My brother has a couple of Super Bowl rings, you know he loves Tom Brady. But I don’t have them, so I don’t like Tom Brady. I respect him, but I don’t like him.”

When pressed again on Brady not liking the Jets, Ryan could only say, “That’s great. Join the club.”
