Ravens activate Webb of PUP list

One by one, the injury riddled Ravens’ secondary is getting healthy.
Lardarius Webb was taken off the physically-unable -to-perform list on Monday, according to the team. The Ravens eased Webb back into the fold during the offseason, even though he’s been cleared just eight months after tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee.
The news is significant as Webb joins Fabian Washington, who made his preseason debut last Saturday against the Redskins. While it’s not known whether Webb will play during the preseason, the hope is he can join Washington and Chris Carr as the top three cornerbacks when the Ravens open the regular season.
Carr has started both preseason games, along with Travis Fisher. Another member of the secondary who could be pushing for a move up the depth chart is Cary Williams, writes Aaron Wilson.
The last member of the secondary on the PUP is Ed Reed.
