Harbaugh: Reed ‘feels good’ about progress

Lardarius Webb is back on the field for the Ravens, leaving Ed Reed as the lone member of the secondary remaining on the physically unable-to-perform (PUP) list.

But the latest update is positive.

According to Jamison Hensley of The Baltimore Sun, Reed has been working with his rehab doctor in Atlanta and spoke recently with Ravens coach John Harbaugh.

“He said he feels good about his progress,” Harbaugh said. “We don’t have details. It’s hard to say how it’s going to continue to improve. Based on the conversation I had with him, he’s happy with his progress.”

It could be disconcerting that Harbaugh doesn’t have any details on the progress of Reed’s rehab from hip surgery. In the meantime,  Tom Zbikowski and Ken Hamlin will get longer looks.

One other injury note: Harbaugh confirmed Oniel Cousins is dealing with a concussion, per the Baltimore Sun. Cousins, who was starting at right tackle for the injured Jared Gaither, has been replaced by Tony Moll.
