Favre makes cameo against 49ers

Brett Favre said he wanted to play in Sunday’s preseason game against the San Francisco 49ers, and he got his wish by starting.
The rest of Favre’s night was uneventful and short.
Favre played a total of four snaps, all on the team’s first drive, before he was replaced by Tarvaris Jackson to start the team’s second drive. Favre completed a 13-yard swing pass to Adrian Peterson on his first play, and after a run by Peterson, was sacked for a 10-yard loss by Patrick Willis on a blitz. His only other snap was a handing off to Albert Young on a draw play.
By all accounts, Favre has been moving well on his surgically repaired left ankle, and his cameo Sunday did nothing to disprove that.
That was it for Favre’s night.
