Vikings have ‘no comment’ on Favre reports

Stepping away to listen in on the “NFL Total Access” production meeting put me 30 minutes behind on Favre Watch. Let’s catch up.
(Short programming note: Rich Eisen, Brian Baldinger and Rod Woodson are on tap for Total Access tonight @ 7 p.m. ET with lots of Favre talk.)
- We have our first official statement from the Vikings in the form of a “no comment.” A Vikings spokesman told NFL Network that the Vikings organization has “no comment” on reports the Farve is on a plane headed north. Okay.
- A “highly placed source” has told the Sun Herald that Favre and wife Deanna are en route to Minnesota on Tuesday, presumably on the plane we believe is headed north. Kudos to those who were paying attention when Deanna renewed her gym membership.
- If you’re interested in such things, you can track flights online, like say, the one carrying Favre. Tom Pelissero of ESPN 1500 in Minneapolis has done the work, and believes Favre is on a flight from Dothan, Ala., to St. Paul that is scheduled to land at 3:11 p.m. CT.
UPDATE: Looks like Pelisserio jumped the gun on the Favre Plane, Tweeting later that Favre instead flew out of Hattiesburg, Miss., on a plane owned by Vikings owner Zygi Wilf that has an untrackable tail number. Ummm… maybe there’s a reason for that.
