Even Favre’s site says to ‘stay tuned’

Now, this is a real Favre Watch. We’ve reached DEFCON 1.5.
And now for the latest hint that Brett Favre is returning: His official site, officialbrettfavre.com, is unavailable.
Presumably, this is because of overwhelming traffic after his message was posted: “Stay tuned for breaking news from the Minnesota Vikings today on Brett Favre’s possible return. Visit the Vikings.com and Officialbrettfavre.com for more information.”
I’m not lying when I say that NFL Network producers are currently engaged in a conversation as to whether the plane Favre is on is stealth, or trackable by radar. One of our news editors suggested hunter extraordinaire Jared Allen should have placed a tracking device on Favre during their reported meeting, you know, just in case. Did Allen, Steve Hutchinson and Ryan Longwell go The A-Team on Favre and drug his milk (copyright fantasy blogger Adam Rank), or was it more Old School style (you’re our boy, Blue, uh, I mean Brett) where they pulled up to the curb in a black van?
Lots of questions.
We really need to have a special red phone that rings only for Favre Watch. As always, stay with us at NFL.com for the latest.
