“I make some tough decisions every day,” President Barack Obama said last week to New Orleans Saints coach Sean Payton during his tribute to the team at the White House. “But I never decided on an onside kick in the second half of the Super Bowl. That takes some guts.”

Sitting behind President Obama as he praised their 2009 accomplishments was not the only White House highlight for the Saints team. Obama announced during the presentation that the day’s celebration would include some authentic N’Awlins food – and so a few of the players assisted the White House chefs in preparing some well-seasons shrimp and sausage.
