Falcons seem intent on running the ball

The Falcons ran nine plays on their opening drive against the Chiefs on Friday night. Eight of them were running plays.
Don’t panic though, Michael Turner did not get all of the carries. The Falcons coaching staff is not going to overwork him in the preseason. They will save that for Week 1.
Turner ran four times for 29 yards. If only Atlanta could play Kansas City every week.
Obviously, I am bullish on Turner — and yes, it is only the first game — but this is a pretty solid way to start the season.
