Charles early leader in clubhouse for KC

This is probably not what Chiefs offensive coordinator Charlie Weis envisioned when he returned to the NFL.
The Chiefs were dreadful in their first two possessions, but did show some signs of life in their third drive of the game. The Chiefs went to the no-huddle and were really finding a rhythm before the end of the quarter kind of stalled them.
The most interesting part of this game was who would start at running back for the Chiefs. Falcons color analyst Brian Baldinger even mentioned the fantasy ramifications. Just by watching, I would give the edge so far to Jamaal Charles who looked pretty good in very limited action.
Nothing is going to get decided tonight, but let’s be honest, Charles is going to be the starter in Week 1, no matter what the depth chart says right now.
And here is a strange note that may only interest me, but this game already has three missed 50-yard field goals. Random, right?
