Cooley: Haynesworth saga is resolved

Chris Cooley, a good friend of the NFL Network, told us on Wednesday that as far the Redskins’ locker room is concerned, the players are all good with the previously disgruntled Albert Haynesworth.

“There’s resolve there, so I feel like the story is over,” Cooley said.

But for the story to really be over (meaning the media stops talking about it), Cooley admits it will take a bit more from Haynesworth.

“Well, I think for Albert to finally put this to bed, he has to show up and play through the preseason,” said Cooley. “He’s got to do his best to stay healthy and continue to play hard. He’s out there working hard right now. He’ll fit right in with the players. But for the story to end, he has to come out and perform a little bit.”
