Pierre Garcon is listed as a starting wide receiver opposite Reggie Wayne on the Colts’ unofficial depth chart, which was released today. Not that it is much of a surprise.
Anthony Gonzalez, who is attempting to come back from a knee injury, is listed as a second-team receiver and punt returner. Gonzalez was the starter to open the 2009 season, but injured his knee in the opening game and missed the entire season.
Gonzalez could still see time because the Colts will likely use a lot of three-receiver sets, although second-year receiver Austin Collie is also in the mix for playing time. But I don’t foresee much fantasy production for Gonzalez this season.
