Is Bradshaw now the best option for Giants?

Even if the master plan isn’t to anoint a clear-cut starter, there’s an intriguing training camp battle going down in Albany, N.Y., between Ahmad Bradshaw and Brandon Jacobs.
Giants coach Tom Coughlin cautions (of course he does) about reading too much into said competition, as Bradshaw and Jacobs have been splitting work with the first-team offense. Regardless of who starts, NFL Network insider Michael Lombardi left little doubt on Monday that he believes Bradshaw holds more value and is the best option.
“Clearly, with Ahmad Bradshaw, the Giants can run their entire offense effectively when he is the one-back runner,” Lombardi said. “Brandon Jacobs is more of an inside runner. So for the Giants to be explosive and diversified on offense, it clearly will be Bradshaw. Jacobs will finish the games, Bradshaw will put the points on the board.”
