Edwards takes shot at Cleveland

Give Jets WR Braylon Edwards credit, at least he has his timing down. Edwards ripped Cleveland in a recent interview with The New York Times, trying to kick a city while it is down.
“There’s nothing going on in Cleveland,” Edwards said. “There’s no real estate. There’s no social life, no social networking. All the people who have something going on leave Cleveland. So Cleveland has nothing, and I came in there with a New York-type of essence. So what? That was the attitude I came in with. Like, this is who I am. They didn’t like the flash.”
The good news for Edwards here is that even with these comments, he could never overtake LeBron James as the most hated man in Cleveland. In contrast to Edwards, the people in Cleveland actually wanted James to stay.
