Many people associated with the NFL — past and present — will be in Canton, Ohio, this weekend to witness and/or be a part of the Pro Football Hall of Fame 2010 Induction Ceremony. So will all of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Steelers, a franchise that holds their history in high regard, will be on hand to honor one of their own when Dick LeBeau is enshrined on Saturday. The team announced they will close training camp on Saturday to travel to Canton, and will then return to Latrobe, Pa., to practice on Sunday afternoon.
A classy move that I can only imagine means a lot to LeBeau. Our own resident Hall of Famer, Rod Woodson, shared some of his thoughts on LeBeau in piece posted on NFL.com Monday.
