Roethlisberger getting early reps with first-team

One of the big questions heading into Steelers training camp was who was going to get what reps between QBs Ben Roethlisberger, Byron Leftwich and Dennis Dixon.

NFL Network reporter Scott Hanson is hanging out in LaTrobe, Pa., instead of Brett Favre’s driveway, and he’s been all over his Twitter account on Saturday morning from practice. We may be starting to get some answers.

Per Hanson, Leftwich has gotten some reps with the first-team offense, but it was Roethlisberger who got the first turn during 11-on-11 drills and was again running the first team during the next team period.

By no means does this establish what Mike Tomlin could do the rest of camp, but he has set an early tone.
