Roundup: New name for Jags’ stadium on the way

Finally, the Jaguars’ home has a name.

Jacksonville Municipal Stadium will no longer simply be called Jacksonville Municipal Stadium, instead giving way to EverBank Stadium after the local company agreed in principle to a multimillion-dollar deal for the building’s naming rights, WJXT-TV reported Monday.

Hey, it’s not a bad deal for the Jaguars, who reportedly can keep 75 percent of any revenue from the sale of naming rights to the stadium.

Some other tidbits from Around the Web on Monday night:

  • The Florida Highway Patrol is still waiting to hear from Dolphins WR Brian Hartline regarding a car accident.
