There are plenty of things to worry about in New England. How much hotter will it get this week? Are there more storms on the way? Does Shaq really think he can play for the Celtics? Aren’t the Celtics old enough already?
So hold off on worrying about Tom Brady‘s contract situation, says Jim Donaldson of The Providence Journal.
Pats fans can breathe a little easier now that Wes Welker appears ready to participate in training camp. But the firestorm around Brady won’t go away.
Brady is under contract for the 2010 season, and he has given every indication that he’ll be on the field when the team reports for training camp Wednesday.
There are plenty of issues that could be more worrisome than Brady. Among them: signing Pro Bowl guard Logan Mankins.
And the question that should be on everyone’s mind: Will the Red Sox make the playoffs?
Now that’s something to worry about.
