Winner, winner, chicken dinner? Brees tops Payton

Saints QB Drew Brees surpassed his coach, Sean Payton, on the list — The New York Times‘ Best Sellers, that is.
Brees’ book, “Coming Back Stronger,” debuted at No. 3 for hardcover nonfiction, besting Payton’s “Home Team,” which finished ninth after debuting at No. 8 last week. Both men are trailing Justin Halpern‘s “—- My Dad Says,” which will be turned into a CBS comedy starring William Shatner this fall.
The two competitors wagered dinner and a bottle of wine on whomever could sell the most books. The only shame in all of this — other than Kendra Wilkinson, the Playboy cover-girl wife of Eagles WR Hank Baskett, having her book finish No. 4 — is that Brees and Payton don’t live in a city with a bunch of great restaurants. Where could the victor possibly find a good place to eat?
(Yeah, I know. I was just kidding.)
