Young played part in Scaife reporting to Titans

Dissatisfied with his status as a restricted free agent, TE Bo Scaife chose to skip the Titans’ offseason workouts until late May.
We learned Tuesday that one of the reasons Scaife ended his boycott was that he was sick of QB Vince Young being in his ear about what he had missed.
“It was just something I felt inside; I was ready to come back,” Scaife told the Nashville City Paper about his return. “I missed four or five OTAs (organized team activities), and I got tired of VY calling me and telling me about practice. I just wanted to come back and get a little taste.”
It’s not all that bad for Scaife. The one-year tender that he signed with the Titans will pay $4.9 million this season. That’s a raise, actually, from the $4.46 million that Scaife made in 2009 after he was designated as a franchise player.
