Foster reportedly making believers in Houston

One depth chart we’ve been keeping close tabs on during the offseason is in Houston, where Arian Foster, the now healthy Steve Slaton and rookie Ben Tate are all in the mix in the backfield.
While Tate has been the offseason darling of our fantasy crew, Foster and Slaton are at the top for now, sharing the bulk of the carries. Because Foster finished the season as the main option for coach Gary Kubiak, the thinking is he’ll start training camp in the same position.
In his look at five reasons to believe in the Texans in 2010, Richard Justice of The Houston Chronicle suggested Foster “has made a believer of coaches that were once skeptical he could help.”
Two things are becoming increasingly clear for the Texans. One, they now possess the backfield depth they’ve lacked in recent seasons. Two, this training camp battle for carries will be interesting to track.
