Dockett sends expectations to Rhodes

Darnell Dockett was made for Twitter, and vice versa. The Cardinals defensive end is as active as any NFL tweeter, and there is no shortage of money quotes about whatever is on his mind.
On Monday, Dockett sent a pretty clear message to teammate Kerry Rhodes while responding to an earlier post that the new Cardinals safety was vacationing in the Bahamas.
“@kerryrhodes u taking all these trips & #@%$! I hope u getting ready to play some FOOTBALL cuz antrell rolle would be ready #IMJUSTSAYING,” Dockett wrote, invoking the name of the safety who left the Cardinals for the Giants in free agency.
There’s no way of knowing just how serious Dockett intended his shot to be, but it’s out there now. Keep in mind this comes from the same player who pushes his Cadillac Escalade 40 yards at a time as part of his offseason regimen and offers regular workout updates, as well as praise of teammates for theirs. While it’s certainly not unrealistic (I think) for an NFL player to take an offseason vacation, the bigger picture is that Dockett has made it public that he expects Rhodes to be ready for camp.
No response on Rhodes’ feed yet.
