Despite denial, CJ2K reportedly worked out at facility

Apparently, Chris Johnson’s boycott of offseason practices with the Titans doesn’t include using team facilities to work out, an odd twist — if the reports hold up — in an ongoing saga.
Despite Johnson’s denials — which he included in a ustream video he posted Thursday — Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean reported that Johnson indeed worked out at Baptist Sports Park earlier this week. When contacted twice by the paper, Johnson stuck to his story and denied working out twice at the facility.
Johnson, you remember, missed all 14 of the Titans’ organized workouts as he campaigns for a new contract. Last month, Johnson said he wouldn’t play for the $550,000 he’s due in base salary this season. The feeling around the NFL Network is that his stance is very real.
As noted in the report by Wyatt, Johnson is working out with his personal trainer in Orlando, Fla., so that’s a good sign for Titans fans. And, really, he broke his boycott to visit the team facilities to work out. Again, not exactly bad.
But certainly another weird turn in this story.
