Childress can’t escape Favre questions … anywhere

Brad Childress is one of four current NFL coaches taking part in the NFL-USO tour in Afghanistan, but a small part (probably a very small part) of him might feel like he’s out running errands in the Minneapolis suburbs.
That’s because Childress told Judd Zulgad of the Star Tribune that he’s already been asked the question of whether Brett Favre will return “thousands and thousands” of times and has come up with a standard reply of: “You know what? That’s part of my night job, I’m going to do that when I get home.”
A world away, and Childress can’t escape it.
Here’s a photo gallery of the current NFL-USO tour with Childress, Carolina’s John Fox, Cincinnati’s Marvin Lewis and Philadelphia’s Andy Reid.
On a more serious note, on this weekend, and every other weekend, we should stop to thank the members of our armed forces who preserve the way of life many of us take for granted. Thank you to all of you.
