One reporter’s plea for Favre’s return

They always like to talk about economic impact when talking about things like Super Bowls, World Cups and other sporting celebrations. But what kind of economic impact does Favre Watch carry?
Because honestly, Brett Favre‘s potential return to the Vikings impacts more than his teammates. Think about all of the little people who are affected by Favre. There is the fantasy enthusiast who has already picked his team (like our friend Nick Bakay).
Or how about NFL Network’s Scott Hanson, who already has his spot picked out on Favre’s driveway like he is reserving his space to view the Rose Parade? Not to mention the hotel operators in Hattiesburg, Miss. Those reporters (like Hanson) have to stay somewhere. Or, what about the local Arby’s operators, too. Those reporters like their food.
And then there is the local media in Minneapolis. They all have a stake in this. Intrepid reporter Jim Ragsdale makes a clever (?), impassioned plea for Favre to return to Minnesota, saying that Minnesota is great for grandpas.
