Wyche: ‘More teams’ interested in Westbrook

It was previously believed that veteran RB Brian Westbrook could play for the Broncos, Rams or Redskins this coming season. But that short list might have expanded.

NFL.com senior writer Steve Wyche said Thursday on “NFL Total Access” that “more teams” are now interested in Westbrook’s services, although those teams weren’t revealed to him. For now, those teams remain a mystery.

But that nugget from Wyche might help explain why Westbrook has been taking his time finding a new home this offseason.
