Work just starting as OTAs end for Fitzgerald

For those Ravens who complained about those long, extended practices — don’t bother showing up to Larry Fitzgerald‘s workouts at the University of Minnesota.

The Cardinals star receiver has been hosting workouts since coming into the league. Fitzgerald is typically joined by WR Greg Jennings, WR Lee Evans and CB DeAngelo Hall — guys who came into the league with him. Fitzgerald worked out a deal with the University of Minnesota to host the workouts, which typically begin after the Cardinals’ OTAs and last through the summer.

And these workouts are not for the faint of heart (via the Cardinals’ official site).

“NFL guys, they come to work out one day and you don’t hear from them again,” Fitzgerald said, although he added, “it’s intense.”

And when you look at the success of Fitzgerald and Jennings, it is hard to argue with the results.
