Titans sign rookie safety Rolle to four-year deal

Rookie safety Myron Rolle signed a four-year deal with the Tennessee Titans on Monday, according to a source with knowledge of the situation.

The Titans used the final pick of the third round (207th overall) on Rolle, who graduated early from Florida State and accepted a Rhodes scholarship to study in Oxford instead of entering the 2009 NFL draft.

Rolle said he stayed in football shape during the year with the help of a trainer and returned to the United States in December.

Rolle demonstrated his commitment to Tennessee before signing his contract, making donations for flood relief last month.
