Pompeani: Roethlisberger ready to make ammends

With the news Wednesday that more than 50 audio and video recordings from the investigation over Ben Roethlisberger’s alleged sexual assault of a college student were released¬†by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, KDKA sports anchor¬†Bob Pompeani joined “NFL Total Access” to discuss the two days he recently spent with the star quarterback.

Pompeani said he observed a contrite Roethlisberger.

“I think you see a guy who has realized that he’s kind of hit rock bottom, and he’s willing, at this point, to move forward and change what a lot of what his situation has been about,” Pompeani said.

“He’s willing, at this point, to start over. And he’s reaching out to a lot of people. … Overall, I saw a guy who realized that this is his opportunity to make amends.”
