A few words from confident-sounding Heyward-Bey

The Raiders have reportedly been forced to cancel two days of organized team activities, but by the sounds of it, those are two days second-year WR Darrius Heyward-Bey doesn’t really need. OK, not being totally serious, but following a very forgettable rookie season, DHB has by all accounts been the most impressive player during offseason practices.
We have some new video in-house of Heyward-Bey, who is pretty low-key about what has been the difference this offseason as he gets accustomed to QB Jason Campbell.
“[Campbell] is looking for me. When I’m out there, I’m just thinking the ball is coming to me every down, no matter who the quarterback is,” Heyward-Bey said. “It’s coming to me, and I’m just taking advantage of my opportunities.”
It is June, and players are practicing in shorts, but all the love surrounding DHB still has to be encouraging (along with the early return by top WR Chaz Schilens) for Raiders Nation.
