Don’t call Josh Cribbs a receiver. The do-everything star for the Browns has his sights on helping the Browns all over the field during the coming season.

“I’m comfortable at [receiver] but I don’t want to say that’s going to be my position, because I’d be doing myself and the team a disservice,” Cribbs told the Cleveland Plain Dealer. “That’s not my only position and that’s not the position you’ll mostly see me at. It’s going to be all across the field, and that’s how I help my team.”

The only place he isn’t likely to help out is on the defensive side of the ball, but with the way Jake Delhomme turns the ball over, he might get his chance there, too.

• Falcons RB Michael Turner says that he is about 90 percent healed from his ankle injury from last season, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution. That still does not budge me from the notion that Turner will be the top running back this season.
