The Jaguars’ offensive line has had a hard time protecting QB David Garrard. So as part of his offseason plan, Garrard is taking his linemen out to dinner every other week.
Garrard’s thinking: If he keeps them full, they keep him upright.
But don’t despair, Garrard doesn’t always have to pay. Sometimes one of the rookies picks up the check.
Garrard talked to NFL Network’s Paul Burmeister about the Jaguars’ line woes, who will be the team’s No. 2 receiver next season and getting the ball to Maurice Jones-Drew out of the backfield a little more.
