One of the most lasting images of the 2009 season was rookie QB Matthew Stafford getting drilled while throwing a pass against the Browns, being helped off the field, and then returning to throw a 1-yard touchdown pass to Brandon Pettigrew to lead the Lions to the win. Now the Lions quarterback is healthy and ready for 2010.

Eagles WR DeSean Jackson exchanged barbs in the media with former Eagles QB Donovan McNabb last week. Now, according to The Philadelphia Daily News, he’s done talking about anyone who is not currently on Eagles’ roster.

Rookie RB Toby Gerhart will miss the Vikings’ OTA next week, and minicamp in June is in jeopardy too, thanks to Stanford’s mid-June graduation ceremonies. NFL rules prohibit draft picks from participating in anything more than a rookie minicamp before their school’s graduation.

Chris Johnson hasn’t been attending any of the Titans’ OTAs, and NFL Network’s Warren Sapp, who recently spoke to Johnson in Orlando, Fla., where he’s training, said on Thursday’s Total Access that he is ready to hold out all the way through training camp if necessary.
