Talks are slow, but Suh doesn’t want to hold out

According to The Grand Island Independent, Ndamukong Suh likely won’t be signing with the Detroit Lions anytime soon. Suh’s agent, Eugene Parker, said the process of closing a deal with a first-round draft pick takes time and that “when there’s a sense of urgency by both parties, things get done.”

The No. 2 overall pick in April’s draft wants to get a deal done before training camp opens on July 31.

“I’m not a guy that likes to be a part of drama,” he said. “I definitely don’t want to hold out.”
