Rookie Tim Tebow probably already got his deluxe apartment, and now he’s movin’ on up.
Not to the East Side, but to No. 3 on the Broncos’ QB depth chart, according to the Denver Post, which reported on Thursday’s organized team activity:
Returning starter Kyle Orton took plenty of reps with the No. 1 unit and Brady Quinn got his reps at No. 2. And then Tebow went in next, followed by second-year QB Tom Brandstater. Although Brandstater was third in on individual quarterback drills, Tebow clearly was No. 3 during the team drills.
Brandstater at least seems to be taking the move in stride.
“The order doesn’t matter to me,” Brandstater told the Associated Press. “The reps I get, I need to make them count, and that goes for every guy on the team.”
So there you have it. Orton and Brady had better watch their backs! (Not really)
