Sarah Palin, Rudy Giuliani and Brett Favre. What do they have in common?

If you were so lucky to be at the Target Center in Minneapolis on Wednesday, you would’ve heard those three — in that order — speak during “Get Motivated!”, a pep-talk extravaganza that promised to recharge people who might be down on their luck.

Favre, who recently had ankle surgery, wasn’t there in person; neither was Palin. Both appeared via satellite.

Here’s what Favre had to offer, via a snapshot of his appearance courtesy of the St. Paul Pioneer Press:

Quarterback Favre also appeared via satellite to talk about his ankle surgery and how last year with the Vikings was “the best season I’ve ever had.”

“My biggest accomplishment was winning over the majority of Minnesota Vikings fans. I never thought I’d say that.”

Many people had slipped out, and the arena was half full when Favre was asked about a possible next season.

“Physically, I don’t feel great,” he said. “I’m not getting any younger.”

A few people chanted, “One more year!”
