Ochocinco ousted in ‘Dancing With The Stars’ semis

Chad Ochocinco‘s “Dancing With The Stars” bid fell just short.

The Bengals wide receiver was eliminated in the semifinals of ABC’s celebrity dance competition Tuesday night. ESPN reporter Erin Andrews, Olympic gold-medal figure skater Evan Lysacek and Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger advanced to next week’s finals.

Ochocinco was the seventh current or former NFL player to appear on the show, which is in its 10th season. Jerry Rice (second season), Emmitt Smith (third-season champion), Jason Taylor (sixth-season runner-up), Warren Sapp (seventh-season runner-up), Lawrence Taylor (eighth season) and Michael Irvin (ninth season) were the others.
