The Kansas City Chiefs opened three days of organized team activities (OTAs) Monday without RB Jamaal Charles and CB Brandon Flowers.
According to The Kansas City Star, both Charles and Flowers underwent offseason shoulder surgeries. The report did not indicate how serious the injuries were, or when either player is expected back.
The only player not in attendance for the start of OTAs was FS Jarrad Page, a restricted free agent who has yet to sign his tender offer. Page was extended a second-round tender worth $1.759 million. Chiefs coach Todd Haley didn’t offer much when asked when he expected to see Page, saying “I’ll talk about the guys that are here and that’s the way I’ll stay with that.”
