Does Delhomme inspire confidence among Browns?

The Cleveland Browns ended last season with Derek Anderson, Brady Quinn and Brett Ratliff as the quarterbacks on the roster. They enter this season with Ratliff, Jake Delhomme, Seneca Wallace and rookie Colt McCoy.
It’s Delhomme who enters the season as the presumptive favorite (because we don’t quite believe there’s really a doubt) to start for the new-look Browns, who look new almost everywhere, not only at quarterback. NFL Network analysts Jamie Dukes and Warren Sapp were put on the spot Tuesday on NFL Total Access, asked what their reaction would be if they were in the Browns locker room.
“Think about that arm. We know he has questions about his arm strength,” Dukes responded. “Imagine him throwing the ball, in December, outside in the elements. I just don’t see how that’s going to work. … I don’t believe that any player in that locker room is thinking playoffs with that move.”
“If I was in that locker room, I’d be happy, because the last two dudes were Brady Quinn and [Derek] Anderson,” Sapp said.
Browns coach Eric Mangini touched on the addition of Delhomme in a one-on-one sitdown that aired Tuesday on NFL Network.
