Operation: Brett Favre Edition

The 2010 edition of Favre Watch took a somewhat odd turn Tuesday when the Operation: Favre game was introduced on the NFL Total Access set.
After a thorough and helpful explanation of Favre’s ankle injury by Dr. Sachin Patel — who noted the arthroscopic surgery likely needed by Favre requires 4-6 weeks of recovery — Marshall Faulk brought out the operating table.
You’ll have to watch for yourself, but here’s a brief synopsis: Eisen went first, successfully removing pseudo-Favre’s Water on the Knee. Faulk whiffed on the Toilet in the Tummy, a high degree of difficulty. To the amusement of many on set, Dr. Patel was unable to remove the cell phone from the hand.
And, if you’re wondering, those are Vikings-logo purple boxer shorts. To be fair, Dr. Patel, ever the good sport, very well may not have known what he was getting himself into.
