Eisen prepping for ‘Operation’ on Favre

Brett Favre will have surgery Tuesday. Live on NFL Network.
And it took only that long for you to realize this is indeed a hoax. It is the offseason, and “fun” falls well within the work conditions at NFL Network.
NFL Total Access host Rich Eisen got his hands on an Operation board game earlier, this version equipped with a photo of Favre in place of “Cavity Sam” (here’s everything you would want to know about that), which will make its NFL Network debut on today’s show. Eisen and analyst Marshall Faulk will try their hand at operating on Favre, who admitted late last week that he will need left ankle surgery if he wants to return to the Vikings next season.
In all seriousness, though, Dr. Sachin Patel, orthopedic surgeon and Medical Director of Sports Medicine at Casa Colina Centers for Rehabilitation in Pomona, Calif., will join Eisen and Faulk to discuss Favre’s injury and what it all means.
As you see in the photo, I caught Eisen practicing in his office. I can neither confirm nor deny it was going well. See if he’s improved when NFL Total Access airs at 7 p.m. ET.
